Welcome to my Gun Blog

Welcome to my new gun blog, I have kicked around the idea of starting a blog for a while now. I finally decided to go for it while sitting at home on a snow day with nothing to do but clean guns and play on the net. So here it is my new gun blog. I guess I should start with a little information about myself. I have been shooting and collecting guns for about 15 years now. I am mainly a hand gunner but I do have some rifles and shot guns. I have shot and owned many handguns and enjoyed them all. I Have had a carry permit for many years and I believe every legal American should exercise their right to keep and bear arms.

The purpose of this blog is to share information about guns, gear, and our rights as Americans. My intent is to help inform people about gun right's and how to protect our basic rights. I also intend on sharing information and my opinion about gun's and shooting. I will include links and picture's on the thing's I discuss in this blog. I will also do some reviews when I get new guns or gear.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do and I will try to keep it fresh and update my blog regularly. I will start with my preferred carry gun right now, it is the Smith and Wesson 1911 sc.



This is a scandium frame 1911 in .45cal, I have several hundred rounds through it and I am loving it. It's lightweight is great for carry and it shoots very well. It is the commander size which is the full length grip and a 4 1/4 in barrel. I have been a 1911 fan from the start, my first gun purchase was a colt 1991a1 commander size that I still have.

Well that is a bit about my and my intent of this blog. I hope you find it informative and entertaining and remember the best way to get our point across as gun enthusiasts is to talk to people, get involved in defending our rights and to take someone shooting.
