Hello again
I am blogging today about a problem we have in our country and no it is not guns! Today I am blogging about Illegal immigration, our federal government will not do anything to stop this problem and when States stand up and attempt to do something about it. Our Federal Government is supposed to enforce our laws and protect our borders and citizens. Instead, the government decides to sue the state of Arizona to stop it from enforcing the laws to protect its borders.
Let's take a look at why the federal government would not want to stop illegal immigration, and why they will not sue the sanctuary cities to make them stop harboring illegals.
The first point of evidence is the 2010 Census:
The 2010 census will determine the apportionment of House members and Electoral College votes for each state. To accomplish these vital constitutional purposes, the enumeration should count only citizens and persons who are legal, permanent residents. But it won’t.
Instead, the U.S. Census Bureau is set to count all persons physically present in the country—including large numbers of people who are here illegally. The result will unconstitutionally increase the number of representatives in some states and deprive some other states of their rightful political representation. Citizens of “loser” states should be outraged. Yet few are even aware of what’s going on.
President Obama has decided to have the director of the 2010 census report to the White House instead of the Commerce secretary, as is customary. Kind of strange don't you think?

Now let's look at Money:
Not counting illegal aliens costs cities and states federal money, resulting in a reduction of services to all residents. The census count is used by Congress in deciding how to distribute more than $400 billion annually to state, local and tribal governments. The formula is simple: the greater the population your state or city reports, the more federal money it might get.
Cities provide the same level of services like police, fire and emergency medical treatment to illegal immigrants as they do to U.S. citizens. In some states, like California, illegal immigrants attend public schools. In 2004, the Federation for American Immigration Reform estimated the cost to California cities for education, health care and incarceration of illegal immigrants at $10.5 billion per year.
According to a PricewaterhouseCoopers study released by the U.S. Census Monitoring Board, a total of 122,980 people went uncounted in Georgia during the 2000 census. As a result, the state will lose out on some $208.8 million in federal funding through 2012, a loss of about $1,697 per uncounted person.
A Matter of Equal Representation and Politics
Our Unconstitutional Census
Counting illegal immigrants in the census undermines the fundamental principal of American representative democracy that every voter has an equal voice. Through the census-based process of apportionment, states with large numbers of illegal aliens will unconstitutionally gain members in the U.S. House of Representatives thus robbing the citizen-voters in other states of their rightful representation.
In addition, an inflated population count resulting from the inclusion of illegal immigrants would increase the number of votes some states get in the Electoral College system, the actual process of electing the President of the United States.
In short, including illegal immigrants in the census count will unjustly bestow additional political power in states where lax enforcement of immigration laws attract large populations of illegal aliens, such as California, Texas and other states in which Democrats seek to gain greater influence over national politics.
That is why the government went after Arizona when they tried to stop illegals, and why the same government will not enforce the federal laws to stop illegal immigration. The sanctuary cities and states benefit heavily by having large populations of illegals not only by receiving federal dollars but also by having cheap labor (almost slave like).
Also illegals heavy use of entitlement programs widely supported by the liberal Democrats:
Among the largest costs are Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion). (From a 2002 study By Steven A. Camarota )
The High Cost of Cheap Labor
Thus you can reason that the illegal’s are harbored here to help the liberals maintain the power they now have and to further push our Great Republic toward a socialist or communist agenda. Please remember this by supporting States like Arizona.

It's been awhile
Hello again,
I have not written to my blog in sometime, with life things going on and being very busy with work I have not even fired a round in over two months. So this post will be about practice. It is essential that you practice with your firearm regularly, there’s a saying that goes, “When danger accosts you, you fight the way you train, so it behooves you to train the way you fight”.
In a time of crisis when you need your defensive tools and skills the most, when adrenaline is rushing through your body and your unconscious reaction takes over your conscious train of thought, your body relies more on gross motor skills and muscle memory to do the right things to protect yourself.
If you don’t know this: Hello, gross motor skills and muscle memory come from training. So even if you cannot afford to fire hundreds of rounds a month you can do dry fire drills. Try the link that I posted all you need is an empty gun and a computer screen. (Yogisgunblog is not responsible for you shooting your computer or anything else since you did not follow directions and clear your weapon and move the ammo to another room)
If at all possible I suggest that you fire at a minimum 50 live rounds a month. And do dry fire practice drills weekly. You can also fire a .22 cal handgun very cheaply, 500 rounds are 15-20 dollars. There are many drills you can and need to practice, we all have guns that we put in the glove box or in a drawer and there they are until we are attacked. can you get your gun out and charged and fire accurately in that moment of stress? what if you have a malfunction? Can you clear it and get back into the fight? That is where training and practice comes in to play. I am going to post some links to different training and practice drills, take some time to check them out and remember........practice your life depends upon it.
